Connections and Controls

Connections

10Scene Contacts features a 5-way terminal connector which is wired using the below table, with Pin 1 on the left as shown beklow. 10Scene Contacts should be wired before connecting to QuickQ Rack/Gateway Interfaces. 10Scene Contacts can be daisy chained with other 10Scene Contact units or mixed with 10Scene Wall Plates within the same chain.

10Scene connector

When 10Scene Wall Mounts are first connected to QuickQ Rack or Gateway the front panel LEDs of each 10Scene will flash briefly indicating the unit is powered and connected.

10Scene Controls

The front of the 10Scene contact contains 10 10Scene buttons, these have dual colour LEDs used to indicate when a Scene has been stored to a button and when a Scene is active. When a button LED is Blue this indicates a Scene has been stored, but is not active, when in Red this indicates the Scene is active.

These buttons are also used to set the 10Scene Contacts ID.

The buttons are directly linked to the terminal connectors, allowing you to 'test' programming without another contacts connected and provide visual feedback if items are active or not.

10Scene Programming

10Scene Wall mounts do not hold any programming themselves; they are a remote trigger for QuickQ/MagicQ products with 10Scene Ports or ChamSys systems using the Gateway/GeNetix GN5/GN10 interfaces.

For Information on Programming the QuickQ Rack please refer to the QuickQ Manual.
